INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

"My internship at the MPD gave me the experience to help me achieve my goal of working in a school setting. The knowledge and skills I learned during my internship are still used every day in my career."

- Matt Harmon, MPD Youth Services Officer

"My internship with the Menomonie Police Department helped me reach my dream to become a patrol officer. I would not be where I am today if it weren't for the experiences and opportunities I had during my internship."

- Tyson Kahl, MPD patrol officer

"In my time with the Menomonie Police Department I gained an abundance of knowledge about policing, and especially community policing. I gained many values with some including teamwork, leadership and integrity. These values will follow me throughout my entire life!"

-Lexi Kress, officer with the Prescott, AZ Police Department and former MPD Intern.
